Women's media and cultural organization

 This documentary, which sheds a new light on the violence against women in Western Kurdistan, is the production of BBC in association with Women's Media and Cultural Organization.

 Over years, we have been trying to make the fight against the violence towards women responsibility of the governments instead of the individuals and local organizations.

We also make efforts to bring this issue to the attention of the international society.

 Up until now the government, politicians, and dignitaries of our society have been indifference to the issue of the violence against women, which makes the change to continue in a very slow pace.

We have been trying to make the fight against the violence towards women and honor killing to be addressed on an international level through Films like this one, which is not the first and hopefully will not be the last.

We will continue our fight to diminish the violence against women.
